Bought these whilst I wait for Next R’s to be warrantied. Makes me wonder if the carbon is worth it - in a good way. Don’t seem quite as stiff and damped but a hell of a lot cheaper for not much weight gain.
I have been riding Race Face cranks since my first pair of Turbine LP square tapered cranks. Race has always been and has continued to be my go to cranks. That being said, the new turbines are nice, but the cheap plastic preload had to be swapped out for the Cane Creek Aluminum preloaders ASAP. Once you do that, best cranks for the money. You can keep your carbon cranks.
