Yes, the handlebar comes at a standard width of 760mm and is trimmable down to 720mm. Please note that trimming the bar will slightly increase the stiffness of the ride feel.
Is this handlebar compatible with direct-mount stems?
No, the Era SL Handlebar is not compatible with direct-mount stems. It is designed for use with standard stems that have a maximum clamp width of 60mm.
Does trimming the width affect the handlebar's vibration damping?
Yes, it is important to be aware that while the Era SL can be trimmed down to 720mm, cutting the bar narrower than this will increase its overall stiffness. This extra rigidity can potentially reduce the vibration-damping benefits of the Goldilocks (GL) Tuned carbon layup, making the ride feel less compliant on rough terrain.
