Don't Forget The Sides
Because crashes don't always happen straight on, Ambush knee pads have additional foam padding on the inner and outer side walls.
No Joke Protection
Certified Impact absorbing D3O™ knee foam is covered by a burly 600d polyester fabric, which is then covered with a slick PU coating.
Easy On, Easy Off
Gearing up at the trailhead is much easier, when you can keep those shoes on. Open back design makes getting these knee pads on and off quick and easy.
Ready for the gnarliest terrain, the DH-caliber Ambush knee pads deliver confidence inducing heavy duty certified D30™ impact protection and are easy to slip on and off trackside with an open back design.

Great comfort on the descent. Good protection and convenient as you can fit/remove without taking your shoes off. The drawback for me is that the Velcro catches on some of my RF shorts when pedalling. If they replaced the Velcro like they did with the Indy, these would be my goto.
This pad compromises in all the right ways for me. Soft shell is not as protective as hardshell, but it means it's nice to pedal, and still has a thick insert to keep you safe when you biff it. Pad is extremely pedalable considering how large it is. So ez to take on and off. Me likey.
These are my absolute favorite knee pads. They're very comfortable and the fact that they strap on vs. slide on is so nice and they stay put. Another thing I like is the padding on the medial side of the knees. I tend to bump my frame here and there and having the padding there is nice. Sizing seems to be pretty accurate. I use them for DH racing as well as general enduro and trail riding, jumping, etc. Never had an issue in the 3 years I've owned them. Just bought a second pair for when these wear out.
I love the new pads. I thought they would be a little bulky but I hardly notice them when riding. I highly recommend them to my riding friends. Thanks for another quality product.
I’m 5’10 200 lbs and the xxl is quite tight on me. I get most bikers are tiny dudes but this being the largest size it isn’t big enough. Is true to the size chart though. So quality is decent but the enduro pads have a better finish to them I would go with them over the Dh model next time.
