I bought these with the knowledge that they weren't enduro or downhill protection. People complaining about the thickness doesn't make much sense to me. Do the research up front or return them before using.

That said, I like these. For the majority of the riding I do these are sufficient as we don't have much elevation change nearby. I have some heavier Fox Launch D30s for when I go to a bike park or do any real enduro/downhill stuff.

Picked these up on Jenson USA 50% off and am happy with the purchase. Considering getting a pair for my wife as well.

"NOT RATED FOR IMPACT" Said right on the packaging. Now I see the fine print under Elbow Flow. It might be slightly better than cutting the toe off an old sock and sliding that over your elbow.

I purchased recently and after first use the threads started coming loose on one arm. Unfortunately raceface didn't back up the product and offered a coupon instead of replacing item. The website I purchased from planet cyclery couldn't find invoice

The are light and breathable and stayed in place no slipping down.

I won't recommend this elbow protections for anything more serious, because it's just thin mesh layer of mesh and a bit of foam. Despite this they are very comfortable and are better then nothing. I wish it would have at least a bit more protective layer so it won't be totally useless
