8. What made you pick this bike over others?
I was definitely sold on the quiver-killer idea of the Troy - a big enough bike to hit some really fun and technically challenging trails, while being agile and pedal-able for fun North Van climbing trails.
9. What is your favourite component or part of your bike and why?
I really enjoy the Next R31 wheels (and ARC31 for the front) - the bombproof feeling I get from riding them, the Vault hub engagement, a wide, but not too wide, rim to help support my 2.35 Nobby Nick/Hans Dampf setup, lots to like.
10. Have you changed/added anything to your bike to suit your riding style?
I originally started with an 800mm handlebar, but moved the the 780 Next with Getta grips for a slightly narrower, and more damped riding feel. A really nice handlebar is hard to beat!
