Race Face Components at Red Bull Rampage 2025: Built for the Biggest Lines in Utah

The 2025 edition of Red Bull Rampage once again delivered jaw-dropping moments from the world’s most fearless freeriders. Behind many of those massive sends, precise landings, and rowdy descents were Race Face Atlas components built to handle it all. From solid cockpits and cranks to bombproof wheels, Race Face gear played a vital role in helping athletes push their limits on Utah’s rugged desert cliffs.

Rampage is unlike any other mountain bike event. Steep lines, massive drops, and unpredictable terrain test both rider and equipment beyond normal limits. Race Face components are built exactly for their unmatched blend of strength, reliability, and performance. Every gram and every bolt matters when you’re dropping 40 feet into a landing zone, and Race Face delivers the confidence to go all in.

Several riders at Red Bull Rampage 2025 relied on Race Face gear across their builds, a testament to the brand’s deep roots in freeride culture. Handlebar setups were tuned for precision, comfort, and control, with each athlete customizing their cockpit for their unique lines.

Georgia Astle ran a 35mm rise Atlas bar, giving her the front-end stability and leverage needed to stay composed on Rampage’s steep, technical descents.

Reed Boggs opted for a similar setup on his custom Yeti 165, using a 35mm rise Atlas Bar cut to 770mm width, a dialed configuration for precision control at high speeds.

Race Face Athletes Hayden Zablotny, Talus Turk, and Georgia Astle also trusted Atlas wheels, built to take on the punishing compressions and harsh landings that define Rampage. Featuring a sturdy 6069 alloy rim and oversized Vault hubs, the Atlas wheelset combines durability with fast engagement — a proven choice when every landing counts.

Each Race Face product reflects years of athlete feedback and product development that are built not just to survive Rampage, but to thrive in it. In Utah’s desert, the terrain told the story. Sharp rock edges, high-impact landings, and brutal compressions tested every setup to the limit and as always, Race Face gear delivered.

When it comes to freeride, “good enough” isn’t good enough. The demands of Rampage prove why riders continue to trust Race Face: components that perform at the highest level, run after run, drop after drop.
