Hardline Comes Home – Race Face Atlas Built for BC Hardline
Red Bull Hardline heads to beautiful British Columbia for its first-ever event in Canada, as riders prepare to take on this iteration of the world's most extreme downhill race at Cypress Mountain. Red Bull Hardline is a unique event – an invitational featuring the world most skilled racers and freeride athletes competing against the clock on incredible technical features, big hits, and physically demanding lines. This October, Hardline comes to BC for the first time, right in Race Face’s backyard.
Cypress Mountain is well known for its challenging terrain, and the incredible track build features some of BC’s most iconic features - granite rock faces, woodwork, roam-in-the-loam style lines, and wet, rooty challenges – beyond the better-known Hardline jump-lines and massive gaps. Race Face Atlas components were built to handle it all, and we’re excited to see our riders take to the track with our trusted downhill and freeride family.
Let’s check in with our athlete rigs ahead of Hardline:
Gracey Hemstreet

Racing for Norco Adidas Race Division, Gracey trusts in our Atlas Cockpit onboard her Norco Team DH for confidence and control. She utilized the same setup to take on her Hardline Tasmania win in 2025.
Steve Vanderhoek

The people’s champ, Steve Vanderhoek, grew up on Vancouver’s North Shore and knows this terrain like the back of his hand. Cypress is Steve’s home turf, and his Devinci Chainsaw has taken on it’s fair share of the mountain’s lines while kitted out with a complete Atlas components kit, including bars, stem, cranks and Atlas wheelset.
